The seedlings are getting so big! They have all been repotted and have taken over the living room. Can't wait to get them into the ground and get some flowers for the balcony. |

Things For Spring
Nothing beats digging in the dirt in the Spring. Here is the list of all the stuff I would like to do in the next couple months. |
- Go for a hike.
- Start the vegetable garden from seed.
- Go for a weekly bike ride along the Hudson.
- Start playing my trumpet again.
- Make plantable seed paper.
- Put up a hummingbird feeder.
- Count all the different types of birds that come to the feeder.
- Try a few new recipes with Spring vegetables.
- Plan a summer vacation.
- Be outside as much as possible.

Vanilla Is So Sweet
Homemade vanilla extract is one of the sweetest smelling things ever. So simple too. Here is what you do:
Home Infused Vanilla Extract
Supplies
Vodka
Vanilla Beans
Small Glass Bottle
Steps
- Fill bottle with vodka, leaving about 1/2 inch of space at the top.
- Add in vanilla beans, about 1 bean per 8 oz of vodka.
- Seal tightly and store in a cool, dry place for 3-6 months before using.
- Bake into your favorite snacks!
